2.1.25. Magento widget

This feature component allows you to place a standard Magento widget directly on your CMS page through Content Constructor.

You can use it when a page should display content that is already available as a Magento widget, for example a CMS static block, a product-related widget, or another widget type provided by the current Magento installation. The available widget types and their options depend on the project configuration.

In order to configure and set a Magento Widget, navigate to your desired CMS page and add the component to your CMS page by clicking the "+" icon in the CONTENT area and select Magento Widget.

Here following settings can be made:

Widget configuration

1. Select the widget type that should be displayed on the page.

2. Configure all fields required by the selected widget. These fields are provided by Magento and may be different for each widget type.

3. If an existing Magento Widget component is edited, the previously selected widget type and its options are loaded into the configurator.

Component options

• Wrap in container - when enabled, the widget output is wrapped in the standard Content Constructor container. This keeps the widget aligned with other page components. When disabled, the widget output is rendered without the additional container.

After the widget type and options have been configured, click SAVE on the right-hand side in the top area.

The component will then be added to the Content Constructor layout. In the layout preview, the component displays the selected widget type name, so it can be identified later while editing the page.
