MageSuite is fully compatible with the Nosto recommendation engine (https://www.nosto.com/products/product-recommendations/).
The approach in MageSuite will use the product IDs provided by Nosto and display the products in the correct places. However, the rendering of the recommendation elements (product carousels) will take place on MageSuite side which makes the storefront independent from Nosto.
You can use the Nosto recommendation engine in order to display product recommendations in the CC Product Carousels in various placed in the MageSuite shop, such as
CMS pages, e.g. the homepage
Product Overview Pages
Product Detail Pages (both as CC component or up-selling products)
Basket (cross-selling products)
Success Page (cross-selling products)
In order to use Nosto in MageSuite you need to fulfill the following requirements:
You have an active Nosto account and you subscribed to a plan. The Nosto account is live.
You have installed the MageSuite Nosto plugin: https://gitlab.creativestyle.pl/magesuite/nosto-cc
You have made changes in the template that allow using the above plugin to render Nosto components in the MageSuite template
You have installed and enabled the Nosto extension in the MageSuite shop. The Nosto extension is connected with you Nosto account
When the above steps have been made you can enable the Nosto product recommendations in the Nosto hub (https://my.nosto.com/admin/) and the Nosto Dashboard in MageSuite.
