MageSuite allows passing your online shop’s information using so-called “structured data”. Google structured data is a format which is used to provide Google with additional information about the search entity itself and to classify the page.49 You can pass specific data about a page for e.g. recipes, organizations, products, restaurants etc. This in turn does help search engines and the users in finding information about your shop faster which increases the SEO performance.

In order to enable the Google Structured Data tool access STORES / SETTINGS / CONFIGURATION
and then navigate to MAGESUITE and GOOGLE STRUCTURED DATA.
Here you can make following settings:
BREADCRUMBS: By setting “ENABLED” to “YES” you can add the breadcrumbs path the information displayed in the Google search.
ORGANIZATION: Here you can set information about your organization which will be passed to the Google search.
o ENABLED: Set this option to “YES” in order to include information about your organization in the
Google search.
o ORGANIZATION NAME Enter here the name of your organization.
o LOGO URL: Enter here the URL of your organization’s logo.
o DESCRIPTION: Enter here a brief description of your organization’s activities.
o COUNTRY: Enter here the country your organization is located in.
o REGION: Enter here the region your organization is located in.
o POSTAL CODE: Enter here the postal code your organization is located in.
o CITY: Enter here the city your organization is located in.
o SALES: Enter here the phone number of your sales department.
o TECHNICAL SUPPORT Enter here the phone number of your technical support department.
o CUSTOMER SUPPORT Enter here the phone number of your customer support department.
SEARCHBOX: Here you can enable or disable a sitelink searchbox to be displayed in Google
Structured data.
Further you can set information about your social media profiles:
ENABLED: In case you want to pass URLs to your social media profiles set this option to “YES”.
FACEBOOK: Enter here the full URL to your facebook profile.
TWITTER: Enter here the full URL to your twitter profile.
GOOGLE+: Enter here the full URL to your Google+ profile.
INSTAGRAM: Enter here the full URL to your Instagram profile.
YOUTUBE: Enter here the full URL to your youtube profile.
LINKEDIN: Enter here the full URL to your Linkedin profile.
MYSPACE: Enter here the full URL to your MySpace profile.
PINTEREST: Enter here the full URL to your pinterest profile.
SOUNDCLOUD: Enter here the full URL to your Soundcloud profile.
TUMBLR: Enter here the full URL to your tumblr profile.
Further you can pass additional information about catalog data to Google Structured data:
CATEGORY:
ENABLED: Set this option to “YES” if you want to pass information about the category to Google Structured Data.
PRODUCT:
ENABLED: Set this option to “YES” if you want to pass additional information about categories to Google Structured Data.
DESCRIPTION: Select here the attribute which shall be used to describe the product in Google Structured data.
SHOW RATING: Select “YES” if you can to pass the product review summary to Google Structured data.
BRAND: Select here the attribute which shall be used to describe the product’s brand in Google Structured data.
MANUFACTURER: Select here the attribute which shall be used to describe the product’s manufacturer in Google Structured data.
When the changes are done click “SAVE CONFIG” in the top-section on the right-hand side. Finally you are required to flush the cache to make the changes apply on the storefront. AccessSYSTEM / TOOLS/ CACHE MANAGEMENT and click “FLUSH MAGENTO CACHE” in the top section on
the right-hand side.
