3.7.9. Product Meta Tag Generator

Product Meta Data are crucial since it is the initial information which a search engine is given. All of your products now can be automatically given a default Meta Tag and Meta Description within a few steps of modifications and settings. This new feature works the same way as Category meta tag generation.
In order to use this feature, you firstly have to enable it. Access to STORES / SETTINGS / CONFIGURATION, expand MAGESUITE and navigate to SEO. Using IS ENABLED field in order to setup Meta Title and Meta Description settings for your products.
These rules will automatically apply to all your products. On product level, the generated meta tags can be overwritten.
In Magento Admin Panel following configurations can be made:
IS ENABLED: Set this option to “YES” if you want to generate meta titles and description from given patterns below. If “NO” is selected, entries in the META TITLE and META DESCRIPTION textfields are
not applied.META TITLE: In this textfield you can determine your pattern for the meta title. You can also use directives, such as {{product_name}} (returns the current product name) and {{filter_values}} (returns applied attribute value). The directives will automatically change the meta tag to applied product and attribute value.
META DESCRIPTION: In this textfield you have the possibility to determine your pattern for the meta description. You can also use directives, such as {{product_name}} (returns the current product name) and {{attribute_values}} (returns applied attribute value). The directives will automatically change the meta tag to applied product and attribute value, e.g. “Purchase your T- Shirts in black”, “Blue Shorts starting from 9 € - buy now!”.
When the changes have been made click “SAVE CONFIG” on the upper part on the right-hand side.
