4.12. Persistent login

In order to improve the usability of shops, we created a new module that extends the existing Magento 2 functionality of the persistent cart and allows the customer to stay logged in when revisiting the storefront.

 

The user needs to check the “remember me” checkbox.

The feature can be configured under STORES / SETTINGS / CONFIGURATION and then CUSTOMERS / PERSISTENT SHOPPING CART.
