2.23. CC component per customer group (PRIVATE)

In the CMS components, the admin user is able define the customer groups that should see the CMS component configured.

This feature allows the shop admin to personalize the content based on the customer group. E.g. the admin can define a promotion (cart price rule) for B2B customers and highlight this promotion on the hero teaser on the homepage.

When selecting any CMS component, the admin user will be able to access the CONTENT DISPLAY section. In this section, the admin user can define the CUSTOMER GROUP using the multi-select field.

Here, the admin user can define e.g. the customer group “B2B” and so the given CMS component will be displayed only in case of a logged-in user being assigned to the customer group “B2B”.

Per default, the CMS component will be displayed to any customer group.
